Luisa Spadafino is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and EMDR-trained therapist dedicated to fostering positive change for individuals, couples, and families. Using a trauma-informed and neuroscience-based approach, she helps clients navigate pain, sadness, anxiety, and fear, ensuring a holistic path to healing and growth.

Luisa specializes in treating trauma, including domestic violence and sexual assault, and is experienced in working with the LGBTQ+ community. She also addresses a wide range of issues such as anxiety, depression, OCD, ADHD, Borderline Personality Disorder, and sexual/intimacy issues. Her therapeutic techniques include EMDR, narrative therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and cognitive-behavioral therapy.

With a strong emphasis on cultural sensitivity, Luisa engages clients with respect to their culture, race, gender identity, sexual orientation, and religious beliefs. She empowers clients through psychoeducation about neurology and the brain, helping them build resilience and develop effective coping skills.

Luisa is committed to meeting clients where they are and collaboratively setting meaningful goals. She believes in guiding clients as a "co-pilot" to help them get unstuck and move forward in their lives.
